Fees & Payments:
- Initial Assessment : $185* – 75 min
- Follow-up Sessions : $140* – 60 minutes
*Eatuitive counselors offer limited spots for reduced rate, sliding-scale clients, to include full-time students and military/veteran discounts. Please inquire if you feel your circumstances would justify discounts based on the above or other extenuating financial or other situations. Discounted sessions apply only to teleconferencing sessions (not face-to-face) and require a minimum commitment of 6 sessions.
All appointments are considered fee-for-service meaning clients are expected to pay in full at, prior to or immediately following the session, unless specifically arranged otherwise. Payment for face-to-face sessions are due at the time of the session. For online sessions, an invoice will be sent by email before or shortly after each session. Credit cards, bank transfers, Paypal and e-payments are accepted.
Insurance, HSA & FSA
Eatuitive is not an in-network provider for insurance purposes and makes no guarantee, stated or implied, that services will be reimbursed by your insurance company. We can and will provide, upon request, a billing statement so that you can independently seek fee reimbursement through your medical insurance company with Eatuitive as an out-of-network nutrition counseling provider, if applicable. Please understand that providing a billing statement or “superbill” (or our participation at any level in helping you seek reimbursement) does not guarantee reimbursement. Please check thoroughly with your insurance provider to determine if our services are covered by your plan and to obtain more information on the details of your coverage, including any limitations on amount of reimbursement, number of sessions, deductibles and licensing/certification requirements for providers.
You may also be able to use your Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA) to pay for services. Contact your HSA or FSA administration company directly or refer to the IRS guidelines to determine eligibility. Both insurance reimbursement for out-of-network services and HSA/FSA eligibility may require that you obtain a physician referral and official medical diagnosis. Please refer all questions to your insurance provider and/or HSA or FSA administrator.
Eatuitive maintains a 48-hour cancellation policy for all scheduled appointments, with flexibility for verifiable emergencies. The rationale for a cancellation policy is not punitive but to allow counselors to offer cancelled times to other clients who may be wait-listed. Sessions cancelled with less than 48-hour notice will be billed in full.
